Though primarily a visual artist, Brent Nokes is also known as a musician and producer.

In 1998 he masterminded the debut recording of Patsy Dan Macruaidhri, the legendary King of Tory Island. Followed by another Tory Island accordian player, Paul Rodgers.

His own album of self penned songs 'Love's Got a New Dream', was released in 2001.
